UCS Model

This window analyses the UCS testing data stored in '#Standard Data/Paste/Paste Database.csv'. The expected columns are:

  1. Stope Name (text)
  2. Run Number (number)
  3. Sample Date-Time (yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm)
  4. Test Date-Time (yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm)
  5. Binder Type (text)
  6. Binder % (eg 4 for 4%)
  7. Tailings Type (text)
  8. Solids % (eg 75 for 75%)
  9. UCS (kPa)
  10. Comments (text)

The curing model can be used to predict the UCS based on the binder and tailings type, binder %, and age. The curing model is based on the following equation:

UCS=(A.Binder+B).log10(Age)+C.Binder+D+EpsilonUCS = (A.Binder+B).log10(Age) + C.Binder + D + Epsilon

Where:

  • UCS is the strength in kPa
  • Binder is in % e.g. 4 is 4%
  • Age is the curing time in days
  • Epsilon is the error function which is based on a normal distribution with mean of zero and standard deviation = E.log10(Age) + F
  • A, B, C, D, E and F are all model coefficients based on the binder and tailings type
