General Analysis
The General Analysis app in mXrap serves as a core tool for comprehensive analysis of mine seismicity and related geotechnical data. It provides flexible tools for filtering, visualising, and interpreting seismic events and other datasets using 3D views, charts and tables. This app forms the foundation for many seismic and general geotechnical investigations within the mXrap platform.
Key Features
- Smooth 3D visualisation including a wide range of data marker styles alongside powerful spatial, time and range filtering
- Interactive and flexible charts such as: Frequency-Magnitude Relations, Parameter-Time Histories, Histograms, Distance to Survey and Volume Specific Comparative Charts
- Event density isospheres which contour regions of equal seismic event density, helping users visualise and quantify spatial concentrations of seismic activity
- Moment tensors plotted directly in the interactive 3D view as beach balls and principal axes overlaid on events, as well as Principal Axes Density Plots and mechanism charts (e.g. Hudson Plot)
