Seismic Monitoring

This app is for the simple monitoring of seismicity in real-time. The primary intent is for this module to be used in the Mine Control room but it might also be used by shift supervisors or mine managers as a simple interface to monitor the seismicity that has occurred in the last 12 to 48 hours. An initial setup procedure is necessary so that the monitoring interface is as simple as possible and can be used by people less familiar with mXrap.

The event monitor provides the user with a simple 3D view and a list of events. Various Trigger Action Response Plans (TARPs) can be integrated with the app to generate alerts and instructions for the control room. There are specific controls to allow the user to easily isolate important areas and communicate exclusions to the workforce.

Key Features

  • Simple monitoring interface for Mine Control room requires minimal mXrap experience
  • Set up alert and exclusion rules and TARP instructions
  • Activity rate monitor can trigger alerts based on elevated event rates
  • Automatic view controls to easily navigate the 3D viewer and isolate alert and exclusion areas

Define exclusion areas based on large events
